Is Airtel Adding New Channels or Shutting Down?

Hi All,

As All DTH except Airtel is adding new channels that are getting launched. Except Rumors no channel actually added the ADTV. Is it shutting down after a loss in Q4 Revenues? I mean the care less adding channels on their platform when Provider like Tatasky who is out of TP space is still Kicking. Not even Airtel started Catchup/ VOD Services. Crap... I wish I would have gone for a better DTH Provider.

in 2013 jan 1st all dth and digital cable operator must be have minimum 500 channels

I don't think DTH is mentioned in that TRAI guideline of 500 channels.

I didn't find any word stating DTH has to carry 500 channels and deadline for it is Jan 1st 2013 in the mentioned link.
