downloading through torrent is safe............but in case of downloading software ...it may contain some virus.
but downloading movie is safe..........or u may use some private torrent site which are more safe

But The Downloaded Item may Do...

If U downloaded any Software , better scan before executing
Downloading movies is completely safe

But Most of the torrents are Illegal , so beware of that

Client is nothing but a software helps to download Via Torrents

Famous one is utorrent and a lots are there

I am using Free Download Manager , its like IDM a Complete download manager also Supports Torrents , automatic Shutdown ,etc....
