Linux Mint 7 Is Based on Ubuntu 9.04 Gloria is here.
Clement Lefebvre and the community behind the Linux Mint project proudly announced last night on their official blog the immediate availability of the final release of the Linux Mint 7 (codename Gloria) operating system. Linux Mint 7 is based on Ubuntu 9.04 (Jaunty Jackalope) and it is powered by Linux kernel 2.6.28, 7.4 and GNOME 2.26.1.
