Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Dorjee Khandu was found dead in the remote Luguthang village, near the India-China border, on May 4.
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh accompanied by Home Minister P. Chidambaram today left for Itanagar to pay last respects to late Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Dorjee Khandu who died in a chopper crash.
Apart from paying his tributes to the departed leader, the Prime Minister will meet the family members of Mr. Khandu.
The Prime Minister and the Home Minister are also expected to meet Governor J.J. Sigh, Mr. Khandu’s cabinet colleagues and other top officials.
Mr. Khandu was killed along with four others in a helicopter crash in Tawang district on Saturday last.
