Mozilla stops development of Thunderbird email client

Mozilla will put its popular Thunderbird email client into its Extended Support Release (ESR) process and cease development of new features. Mozilla’s Thunderbird messaging client has been tracking the outfit’s Firefox web browser in update frequency, however Mitchell Baker, chair of the Mozilla Foundation announced that this will not be the case much longer.
