Here is good news for Shane Bond die-hard fans.

The fast bowler has returned to the New Zealand one-day team for their tour to Sri Lanka starting next month.

Bond, who has only just rejoined the international fold after cutting his ties with the rebel Indian Cricket League (ICL), was included in New Zealand's one-day and Twenty20 squad. However, he has not been included in the tests.

The 34-year-old Bond will first join the New Zealand A team for its tour to India next month.

Speaking on this, Glenn Turner, New Zealand Head Selector, said: "Many of the squad will be coming off their winter break, so the opportunity to get game time in sub-continent conditions is ideal."

Bond has picked 79 Test wickets at an average of 22.39 in 17 Tests and 125 wickets in 67 ODI's at 19.32.

Apart from Bond, fellow former ICL player Daryl Tuffey has also been included in the team.

Tuffey, who last played in a Test in 2004, returns to the national side following a strong domestic season.

Apart from these, young wicketkeeper Reece Young from Auckland also received his first call-up to the top national side to provide cover for Brendon McCullum.

New Zealand is scheduled to play two Tests, five one-day internationals and two Twenty20 matches on the Sri Lanka tour.

Test squad: aniel Vettori (captain), Craig Cumming, Grant Elliott, Daniel Flynn, Martin Guptill, Chris Martin, Brendon McCullum, Tim McIntosh, Iain O'Brien, Jacob Oram, Jeetan Patel, Jesse Ryder, Ross Taylor, Daryl Tuffey, Reece Young.

One-day international and Twenty20 squad: Daniel Vettori (captain), Shane Bond, Neil Broom, Ian Butler, Grant Elliott, Martin Guptill, Gareth Hopkins (one-dayers only), Brendon McCullum, Nathan McCullum, Peter McGlashan (Twenty20s only), Kyle Mills, Jacob Oram, Jeetan Patel, Jesse Ryder, Ross Taylor.
