"We have done away with the splat and now the logo simply says Nick.

The logo reflects Nick''s change in its branding strategy, wherein the focus will shift from kids only to kids and family audience," Nick India Senior VP and GM Nina Elavia Jaipuria told PTI. From June 25, the channel will have a new logo that will help it realign and unify globally with its international network. "The logo has been changed globally across America, Europe and Asia.

India is the last major market that will undergo this makeover," Nickelodeon International Senior Vice-President Steve Grieder said. Grieder, however, declined to comment on the investment details.

On the content front, Nick India will introduce new programmes to strengthen its audience base in the country. "Nick will launch Artzooka, an art and craft show, which will educate kids on using photoshop and other new technologies for art and craft.

We will also launch Dreamkix, a football-based show," Jaipuria said. Nick India, which reaches 32.75 million households in India, is available in four languages -- Hindi, English, Tamil and Telugu.

The re-brand will also be established through Nick''s consumer products and website. "After television, consumer products like schoolbags, bedsheets and stationary are the greatest means to associate with the audience.
