MUMBAI: Open TV and Arris have jointly rolled out 'Ad Insertion-in-a-Box', a digital advertising offering for cable and telecommunications operators.
The solution, initially targeted at Europe, supports advertising sales, insertion, reporting and campaign management for ad sales operations.
The solution pairs 'Arris ConvergeMedia SkyVision' advertising applications suite and OpenTV's 'Eclipse Campaign Management' product to provide an end-to-end digital programme insertion (DPI) advertising system.
"We are very excited to bring a turnkey bundled solution to the marketplace that builds revenues in a safe and trusted environment," says Arris SVP sales (EMEA) Claudio Cerioli.
'Ad Insertion-in-a-Box' solution includes digital splicers, campaign management systems, cue management and encoding/transcoding, installation services and 7x24x365 technical assistance.
"There is a growing need internationally to accommodate new advertising revenue streams through ad insertion on linear television and now we are able to provide these new markets with a simple and effective solution," says OpenTV SVP business development Tracy Geist.
