Raj Television Network Ltd has started work on launching Hindi channel Raj Parivaar in a couple of months.
"We have started the dry run beaming Hindi movie songs. We are in the process of finalising the kind of programmes the channel would telecast. Talks on distribution are also on at various centres," Amit Bose, vice president (Programming) told IANS.
"Our focus will be on giving soothing programmes for the viewers -- mellowed and light programmes," he added.
"We would like to be present in the Hindi market as well."
According to Bose, the outlay for the Hindi channel is yet to be firmed up. "It depends on the kind of programmes we will have on the channel."
