Quote:The Supreme Court on Monday asked the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) to complete the exercise of fixing tariffs for
cable TV operators in non-conditional access system (CAS) areas by June 30, 2010.

A three-judge bench headed by chief justice KG Balakrishnan also asked the regulator to take into account the plea of broadcasters, multi system operators (MSOs) and all stakeholders in the matter of fixation of such tariff.
