The Galaxy beckons! Expanding on the global foundations established in its first season, all new Star Wars: The Clone Wars – Rise of the Bounty Hunters premieres on Indian Television on WB on August 14 at 6:00 p.m. The classic Star Wars tradition of testing the very limits of our heroes as they battle for the fate of the Galaxy continues in the new series. All new battles, thrilling storylines and unrivalled animation promise to raise the stakes even higher in this sweeping galactic conflict.

Monica Tata, Vice President and Deputy General Manager, Entertainment Networks, South Asia, Turner International India said, “Its exciting, thrilling and true cutting-edge product straight from Hollywood for WB viewers in India. We are delighted to be the Indian TV launch pad for quality Hollywood content and are positive viewers and Star War fans alike will enjoy the new season on WB.”

Set between Episodes II and III of the live-action saga, the battle for peace rages on but the valiant Jedi Knights teeter upon the brink of exhaustion as they are beset by the seemingly limitless resources of their enemies. With no end in sight, the war is taking its toll, an opportune time to create turmoil. Enter the Galaxy’s most fearsome bounty hunters, hired by the Separatists to tip the scales of the tenuous balance of power. As ruthless as they are deadly, these lawless rogues enter the fray with one objective – to destabilize and destroy the Jedi Order. Star Wars: The Clone Wars – Rise of the Bounty Hunters showcases an entirely new look and feel to the Galaxy far, far away, created by the talented artists at Lucasfilm Animation.

Commenting on the new season, George Lucas, Executive Producer said "We're trying to push the envelope even further in the second season. In the features, I focused on telling the story of the Skywalker family. With The Clone Wars I'm exploring far beyond that and we barely scratched the surface in the first season. It's exciting to be able to take people to all these new places in the Star Wars galaxy."

Stakes are high, and the fate of the Star Wars universe rests in the hands of the daring Jedi Knights. Watch STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS – Rise of the Bounty Hunters only on WB weekends @ 6PM
