Existing customers who has old DVR:

I just clarified with Airtel, who advise that existing customers those who are having old DVR will have to pay Rs.3990/- for New STB (HD Recorder). They will take back the old stb. Whatever channel package is in force will continue with the new STB connection.

At present, these New Recorder is readily available only in Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad. Other areas will be getting these HD Recorders soon.
