MUMBAI: Star world, the English entertainment channel from News Corp’s Asian media subsidiary Star, is set to premiere Home, a revolutionary documentary by Yann Arthus-Bertrand, on Earth Day – 5 June.
The 8 pm airing on the channel will coincide with the worldwide premiere of the documentary, which showcases the mutilation of the earth caused by man in last 400 million years.
Home, as claimed by the channel, is a visual treat with images gathered from over 50 countries bringing alive the thought - “together, we must rebuild”.
The two-hour documentary produced by director Luc Besson (The Transporter, The Fifth Element) takes viewers on an epic journey around the planet via aerial shots.
The channel claims that bringing the documentary to Indian audiences is an attempt to increase public awareness with an aim to highlight the concerns of the environment and how people can come together to rebuild it.
