Kalanithi Maran of Sun TV Network is in talks with the Wadias to acquire low cost carrier GoAir, according to a report.
The report stated that Go Air purchase will give Maran a 20% share in the market and a 60% share in the budget carrier market.
There are report that the airline currently has a fleet of 10 Airbus A320s, half of which will now be in Delhi and plans to expand its fleet to 20 by 2014.
Go Air has a debt size of around Rs. 8bn, adds report.
