SC rejects Tata Sky’s plea

The Supreme Court on Monday rejected Tata Sky’s plea, seeking quashing of the sectoral tribunal’s directions that asked the DTH operator to make payment to sports broadcaster Neo Sports at an enhanced rate of 7% over and above the reference interconnect offer (RIO) rates.

That would be a BAD move by SC also a bad news for customers as the resulting action will increase the rate of NEO channel. Tata Sky's plea was totally appropriate in the interest of consumer.
