UTV World Movies announces “Cannes Calling” contest

UTV World Movies in association with Jet Airways has announced the launch of “Cannes Calling” contest. The contest, which is now running for the second consecutive year, is open to all residents of India above 18 years of age, from April 1st till 30th ‘09. The airline has tied up with UTV World Movies to promote this contest for a period of one month. The contest page is hosted on jetairways.com, where participants will need to fill an online contest form and answer a simple question, Participants can also send in their answers via sms to 59995. The winner will have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to win a trip to Cannes, along with an entry to the prestigious Cannes Film Festival 2009. That’s not all, film DVDs from UTV World Movies large home video collection will be given away as consolation prizes.

Business Head of UTV Movies and UTV World Movies, Sameer Ganapathy said, "This is the second year of our association with Jet Airways for the “Cannes Calling Contest”! The contest will be widely promoted on the UTV World movies channel, as also by a co-branded print advertisement in the channel’s monthly magazine and on the airlines in-flight magazine “Jet Wings”.
