Update: Videocon D2H adds Dolby Digital 5.1 Audio feed for Star Cricket HD

Dolby Digital 5.1 Audio feed added for Star Cricket HD on Videocon D2H. Now Star Cricket HD has 2 audio feeds.

Can any Videocon D2H HD subscribers check if it is enabled or not.

Hi Raam

I have recently switched over from Reliance HD to videocon D2H HD just for the sake of Dolby 5.1 option in D2H. I am getting awesome sound by connecting coaxial cable from the D2H set top box to my Sony Home theater. So i guess u could go ahead and switch over from tatasky to D2H. As no other operator is offering this many HD channels.

i have been told that 11 channels are 5.1 ?

Which is best option annual plan ? or just HD box Rs 2690 ?

I couldn't post any pics of the box as the box is fitted tight in to a TV cabinet. If your doubt is about Digital audio option, D2H is offering only Digital Coaxial output. It doesn't have optical Digital audio. If i am not mistaken, 14 channels are in 5.1 audio. I have opted for 3090 option which includes 2 months of South Platinum HD pack.

Picture quality is very good and the Audio clarity is better even for SD channels , much better than Big TV HD.
