Xiaomi today conducted its first sale for the Redmi 3s Prime. The sale went out-of-stock in very less time even though the company claimed it to be an open sale. Customers who couldn’t grab the Redmi 3s Prime in today’s sale need not worry as the company has announced their next sale for August 17, which will start at 12:00PM IST on both mi.com as well as Flipkart. Just like today buyers will be able to choose from gold, silver and dark grey color variants.

Xiaomi is also conducting a first open sale for the Redmi 3s on August 16 via Flipkart and mi.com . Xiaomi’s India head, Manu Kumar Jain, has tweeted that they are overwhelmed by the response they have received for Redmi 3s. He said that over 7 lakh Mi Fans have shown interest in buying the Redmi 3s since its launch.

The Xiaomi Redmi 3s Prime features a 5-inch HD (720p) display and is powered by a Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 430 octa-core SoC paired with 3GB of RAM. Also on offer is 32GB internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB.

On the camera front, the smartphone sports a 13-megapixel rear snapper and a 5-megapixel selfie snapper. There is also 4,100mAh battery, fingerprint scanner at the back like the Redmi Note 3, and connectivity options such as dual-SIM card slots (hybrid setup), 4G LTE support, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS. On the software front, the Redmi 3s Prime runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0 based MIUI 7.
