Guys,
Rumors were there that the reception of Intelsat17 (66*) is low here in Middle east (Saudi/Qatar/UAE etc). However, i wasnt convinced of it seeing the footprint compared to Insat2E.
Last night i tried to catch the signal using a 190cm rusty 5-6 yrs old dish. Surprisingly i got good signal of all the channels. Kalaignal TV (3845, V, 27689 QPSK) is currently having good signal i believe, and which can be tuned on a Mpeg2 receiver too...
Soon, all ME guys will be rushing to tune their dishes to Intelsat17, since most of the channels are already in migration process from Insat2E. The bad news is that most of the channels are on Mpeg4 format, so you need to replace your old receivers to a standard new ones...
So no more waiting guys, start your sat hunt today itself.. :jump:
