Volkswagen's new India specific compact sedan, is based on the VW Polo. Engine options will also be carried over from the hatchback. The petrol variants would see a 1.2-liter three-cylinder naturally-aspirated mill matched to a 5-speed manual transmission while the diesel will get the new 1.5-liter four-cylinder, also paired to a 5-speed manual.
Most probably, it would be shown to the public in the 2016 Auto Expo and actual sales would begin sometime during next year.
