Will airtel dth work on aver media tv tuner super 009

I want to buy airtel dth for viewing and recording it on my pc with tv tuner. My tv tuner is Avermedia super 009.

my doubt is that will airtel dth works on avermedia tv tuner . because many are saying that it will not show channels and gives a message like viewing is prohibited on tv tuner. so can anyone please give me the answer please. i want to record tv shows, so please give me the answer please. or which dth work for recording tv shows in pc for my tv tuner.

Hello pal,

I have good news for you. Yes, Airtel DTH will work with your Avermedia Super 009 Internal PCI Card.
You need to connect the RCA Cable (Red-White-Yellow) output from the set-top box to the RCA input of the TV Card.
You should be able to watch (and record) SD TV using VLC, MPC-HC or Avermedia Player.
The only compromise is, you will be able to watch and record SD (Standard Definition) Channels.
For HD (High Definition), your card won't work and you'll require a pretty expensive card like the Avermedia Dark Crystal. Also, your computer must have PCIe Slot for supporting this card.
