MUMBAI: Zee Sports will telecast the ABN AMRO Men's Champions Trophy from 28 November to 6 December.
The event takes place in Melbourne, Australia. The top six teams - Australia, England, Germany, Korea, Netherlands and Spain - will participate in the tournament.
There will be an updated Video Umpire system. Zee Sports CEO Atul Pande said, "This championship will serves as a precursor to Hero Honda FIH World Cup 2010 to be played in India next year, in which India along with Pakistan will be a major contender for the title."
As per the format of the tournament, each of the six teams will play each other once in a round robin format to complete five preliminary round games. The top two teams at the end of the preliminary round matches play off in the final. The third and fourth placed teams play for the bronze medal, while the fifth and sixth placed teams meet in the fifth place play-off.
