Minimum Antenna Size - anirudhashish - 12-30-2012

I have been using DD Direct for about 2 Years now with the Standard Tata Sky/Airtel oval dish and accompanying LNB with a SOLID MPEG4 recvr

This new building that i have moved into has a TATA sky MDU and does not allow personal antennas .

What is the smallest dish which could get me INSAT in kolkata

azimuth and elevation are clear and not an issue.

I think 50cm dish will be good enough for you to get INSAT 4B.

Pl if you want to buy a new ku-dish then do buy minimum 80CM dish as it will be very useful in future too for other fta huntings. If these dishes of Standard Tata Sky/Airtel are vecant then you can use one of them nothing wrong in that .

The problem is that I have shifted houses..... this new colony does not allow mountings on the outside ..... Hence i am looking for the smallest dish possible.....
