MUMBAI: Da Vinci Learning India, an equal joint venture between German media company Da Vinci Media and Raghav Bahl-promoted Quintillion Media, has roped in four founding sponsors for its kids edutainment channel Da Vinci Learning. Da-VinciIt has got on board Eureka Forbes as presenting sponsor, ITC as powered-by sponsor, Cavin’s Care Milk and Vinyl Cosmetics as associate sponsors. The channel has rolled out its ad sales after launching on direct-to-home (DTH) platform Tata Sky. Earlier, it was available only on cable TV platform Hathway Cable & Datacom. “We are available on Hathway Cable & Datacom and Tata Sky. After launching on Tata Sky, we rolled out our ad sales. We have signed four founding partners for the channel,” Da Vinci Learning India managing director Mohit Anand told TelevisionPost.com. The company has also rolled out its marketing campaign across five metros Kolkata, Chennai, Bengaluru, Mumbai and Delhi NCR. It is now doing mall activations besides running spots on radio and advertising on outdoor. “The advertisers will be present on the channel as well as in the marketing campaign. We are looking at brands that share our ethos. We want to add value to our clients,” he said. Anand is looking at targeted distribution for the channel to reach the right audiences. Targeted at kids aged 6–12 years and their families, the channel will scale up gradually.
