Instagram introduces Questions Sticker in Stories - nairrk - 07-11-2018

Instagram has today introduced a new feature for its Stories. Dubbed as Questions Sticker, the new feature will allow your friends to submit questions for you to answer. The questions sticker is available as part of Instagram version 52 on iOS and Android.

In order to add a question sticker to your story, one can select from the sticker tray after taking a photo or video. Users can type out their prompt then place it wherever they would like and share it to their story. When friends see the sticker, they can tap it to reply — and they can reply as many times as they want, right from the sticker.

You can find your friends’ responses in your story’s viewers list. Tap any question they’ve asked to create a new story where you can answer it, and the question you’re answering will appear on your story for context. The company says that users will be able to see who submitted the response in the viewer list in private. However, when they share the response in their story, their friend’s photo and username will not be shown.

Previously, the Facebook-owned company rolled out a new feature to its original app which will notify you every time you’re done catching up to your friends’ lives on Instagram.

With the latest update, Instagram will flash a large green checkpoint if you’ve done scrolling through all your posts in the feed for the past two days. The message will read “You’re all caught up“ when you’ve gone through all new posts in the last 48 hours from the people whom you may follow.

Upon crossing the checkpoint, users will be greeted with older posts which would still be new to you if you hadn’t checked the app in over two days and these posts will be mixed with pictures and videos from recent posts which you might already have viewed.
