ZEE5 premieres Tamil sports drama ‘Kanaa’ - nairrk - 07-02-2019

MUMBAI: Video on demand (VoD) player ZEE5 has premiered Tamil sports drama ‘Kanaa’ from today. The film received critical acclaim and appreciation when it released in theatres. The film has been written and directed by Arunraja Kamaraj, produced by Sivakarthikeyan and features talented actors Sathyaraj, Aishwarya Rajesh and Darshan.

‘Kanaa’ is an inspirational story of a village girl with a big dream and how fulfilling that dream becomes the purpose of her existence. It is a heartwarming story of how she makes it her dream to become a cricketer to make her father who is an avid fan of the sport proud. It showcases how barring all challenges, the protagonist continues to follow her dream. The film is emotional and highly motivating.

Writer and Director Arunraja Kamaraj commented, “Kanaa is a story of conquering dreams despite the various obstacles that come along the way. The film is about having faith in oneself and working hard towards the goal you set for yourself. It received a phenomenal response in the theatres and we are now looking forward to the audience watching it on ZEE5.”
